The Safety and Security working group is working with local community members tackle crime, antisocial behaviour and disorder. Initiatives are designed to make Heathdale a safer place to live, work and visit. The group works in patnership with local police, schools, local government and the Department of Human Services. The Heathdale Pride and Participation Group is working with local community members on numbers projects to ehance community connection and implement projects that increase pride in the area. There are number of projects the working group organise each year. [Read more]

Neighbourhood Renewal encourages all members of the community to work together to take action on issues to improve their neighbourhood. The Physical Environment Working Group is enhancing the Heathdale Glen Orden Wetland, other parks and playgrounds, local public transport facilities and entrances into the estate. [Read more]

The community has identified Health and Wellbeing as a priority and aims to create recreational opportunities for all within Heathdale. A women's group has been set up, fitness circuits for the wetlands and family camps are projects this groups works on each year. [Read more]

This working group is helping residents move from welfare to work by engaging them at the local level and empowering them through work and learning opportunities. [Read more]
