    About the Werribee Wetlands Community Festival
    Werribee Wetlands Community Festival
    Werribee Wetlands Community Festival is an annual event that aims to celebrate and promote diversity, harmony and tolerance throughout Wyndham. You are invited to enjoy a day of exciting local talent, dance and workshops that promise to entertain all members of the community. You are invited to taste the amazing food and join in the fun!     ENTERTAINMENT
    As part of the festival enjoy the non-stop entertainment throughout the day with a variety of cultural dance and musical performances. This year, be prepared to be entertained by Code One Police Band, Pride of Cook Islands, Phoenix Rose Band, Maori Dancing Group, Millennium Dancers and Festival for Healthy Living performers.


    ACTIVITIES:
    Children of all ages will enjoy an exciting line up of hands on workshops and activities including card making, boomerang decorating, Maori haka, kindergarten services activities and storytelling. Also be dazzled by the amazing Cosmodome galaxy workshops. Children have the chance to win lots of free prizes by participating in all the activities.

    Thrilling rides include the giant shark slide, UFO ride and the gentle Thomas the tank engine ride throughout the picturesque Heathdale Glen Orden Wetlands. Unlimited cost of rides and workshops - individual pass $5 or family pass $15. For adults there will be a chance to dream and view classic mustang vehicles and motorcycles or enjoy a Mary K makeover.


    OTHER ACTIVITIES INCLUDE:
    Other activities include information displays by Hoppers Crossing CFA, City West Water, Department of Justice, Department of Housing, Neighbourhood Watch and Wyndham Police.
